Resulta que son dos viajeros que se conocieron mientras viajaban, el único problema es que vivían a 13.000 kilómetros de distancia. Rob en Estados Unidos y Joli en Filipinas. Así que decidieron hacerse amigos en Facebook y continuar su relación por ese medio. Hasta que se dieron cuenta que querían algo más que ser simplemente amigos y decidieron encontrarse en un punto en común en alguna parte del mundo.

And maybe some of you recognize this famous sculpture too, which we’re posing with at SFO’s Union Square. Para ser «justos» y aventureros, decidieron encontrarse en «la mitad del camino» en diferentes partes del mundo. Sabiendo que esos encuentros eran fugaces y terminarían, se les ocurrió la idea de inmortalizarlos haciendo un «dipkiss» en cada destino y sacando una foto de ese momento.
